Obituary

Willard John (Jack) Kitchen, of Woodstock, NB passed away on August 25, 2020. Jack is survived by wife Evelyn Marie Kitchen of 38 years, sons David Kitchen (Becky Stavert), Paul Kitchen (Danielle), plus the love of his life his grand daughter Jaedyn Kitchen. Brother Jamie Kitchen (Judy), sisters Susan Wheeler (Mike) and Margie McGuire (Rick). Also many other loving family members, brother and sister in laws and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Willard and Shirley Kitchen and nephew Craig Kitchen. Jack was an avid sports fan who loved his Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Nascar and a diehard Buffalo Sabres fan. He managed Maritime Ontario Trucking Company in Moncton for 10 years before coming back to his hometown of Woodstock as a businessman to open up Greco Pizza and King Street Sports which he owned for 31 years. He supported many community activites, events and charities. Member of the Elks Club and the Woodstock Golf and Curling Club where he would use his favorite club "the putter" from 100 yards out! Played for many sports teams throughtout his illustrious career such as the Karnes Loafers hockey team, Marysville Royals and Chatham Ironmen baseball teams. Jack was a lover of country music such as Garth Brooks, George Jones, George Strait, Roy Rogers and The Sons of the Pioneers. You could find Jack everyday watching the Lone Ranger, The Roy Rogers Show, The Porter Wagoner Show and Live Music from the Grand Ole Opry. Happy Trails.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street Woodstock, NB .

There will be no public visitation at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 29, 2020 at 11 am from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Todd MacLeod officiating with

Interment will be in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.

In Memory of Jack,  Everyone is encouraged to wear  an article  of clothing  in Red !  (  Sports theme ).

If desired donations can be made to the Woodstock Golf and Curling Club online or in person at the Club.
