Wesley James Stockford, of Northampton, NB passed away while a resident at the Carleton Manor, on April 10 ^th , 2021 at the age of 76.

He was predeceased by his father Walter Stockford, mother Ethel Stockford (Anderson) and brother Hazen Stockford.

Wesley is lovingly remembered by his wife Caroline Stockford (Bryant) of 43 years, daughter Tracy Patterson (Chris), sister Linda Hamilton (Paul) and nephews Benjie Waugh (Lisa), Andrew Waugh (Stephanie), Gary Hamilton, Christopher Stockford (Tammy). Great nephew Colby Waugh and great nieces Sadie & Isabel Waugh and Ellie Stockford.

Wesley was born in Woodstock, NB on January 15 ^th , 1945. The eldest of 2 siblings Linda and Hazen. Wesley had a love for the woods and nature. He helped his father saw wood from their mill in Hartin Settlement and later moved it to Northampton. He loved to saw and spent many hours sawing up lumber for the local community. There was always work to be done in Wesley's eyes! Later years he spent time driving gravel truck and operating heavy equipment. He also enjoyed fishing, four wheeling and motorcycles. Anyone who knew Wesley, knew that he loved to tease and joke. He always found joy in the simple things in life.

Visitation for the family will be held on Tuesday April 13, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm

The family will gather on Thursday at 2 pm for a Memorial Service at the Kirk  Cemetery in Northampton, NB.   Rev. Shirley Noseworthy will be Officiating.
