W. Glenn Buchanan of Woodstock passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital, Woodstock. Born at Royalton, Carleton County, he was a son of the late William Herbert and Mabel (Cronkhite) Buchanan. Glenn is survived by a sister-in-law, Florence Buchanan of Whitby, Ontario; step-children Dana Smith (Cheryl) of Lindsay, Frank Smith of Northampton, Eldon Smith (Cathy) of Newbridge, Dale Smith of Newbridge, Bonnie Jensen of Grafton, and Daphne Dymond of Fredericton; and several nieces and nephews. Glenn was predeceased by his first wife, Eska V. (Jensen) Buchanan; his second wife, Juanita C. Smith; two brothers, Vaughan and Paul Buchanan; and four sisters, Faye Smith, Eleanor Blake, Vera Therault, and Eva Simonson. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bill Frenette will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
