Violet Patricia Cox, formerly of Hartland, wife of the late Clayton Kenneth Cox, passed away at the Carleton Manor on Friday, March 23, 2007 at the age of 91. Violet was born at London, England, and came to Canada as a war bride. She is survived by a son, Gary Cox of Rosedale; two daughter, Myra Brewer of Keswick and Ann McAuley (Brian) of Rosedale; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel, 815 Main Street, Woodstock. Rev. Dale MacDonald will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery at a later date.
