It is with heavy hearts that the family of Veronica J. Ivey announces her passing on July 14, 2018 at Hospice House Fredericton. Born in Holmesville, New Brunswick on November 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Howard Clark and Lena Butterfield.

She will be sadly missed by daughter Mary Ivey; daughter Gertrude Sheppard, grandchildren Renee and Todd, great grandchild, Justin; a son, William Ivey (Stacey Shaw), grandchildren Logan and Anna, step-grandchild Samantha McLellan (Chad) and great grandchildren Jaylin, Emma and Chase; a sister Dianne Lavigne (Clifford) and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Veronica was predeceased by her husband Ross; two sisters, Phyllis Clark and Violet Bradstreet; and a brother, Derrald Clark.

Visitation will be held Monday July 16, 2018 at Scott Funeral Home in Woodstock, New Brunswick from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Services will be held at Scott Funeral Home (Chapel) Tuesday July 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Following the service interment will be at the MacKenzie Corner United Church Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice House for their kind, compassionate care of our mother during her last days. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice House Fredericton or the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
