McEVOY, Vernice Ann- of Woodstock, NB passed away at her home in on Saturday, December 08, 2012, at the age of 96. She was born in Miramichi daughter of the late Patrick and Clara (Hetherington) Donovan.

She is survived by four daughters, Mary Hallihan of Renous, NB, Carmel Sturgeon of Smith Crossing, NB, Paulette Riordon (Vince) of Belleville, NB, Anita McEvoy of Jacksonville, NB: four sons, Wilson McEvoy of Toronto, Ont. Gerard McEvoy of Toronto, Ont. David McEvoy (Ann) of Woodstock, NB and Donovan McEvoy of Woodstock, NB; She is also survived by one sister, Helen Burke of Moncton, NB, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was pre deceased by her husband David McEvoy and two daughters, Sharon Ann and Margaret Rose; one son Carl McEvoy, and grandson Terry; one brother Howard Donovan and one sister Inez Furlong.

Funeral service was held on December 13, 2012 from the St. Bridget's Catholic Church. MSGNR Joseph Woods  officiated with interment in St. Bridget's Catholic Cemetery.
