Thomas Henry Hannigan of Woodstock, husband of Mary H. (Hamilton) Hannigan, passed away at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at the age of 78. Born at Woodstock, he was the son of the late Leo F. and Agnes A. I. (Harrington) Hannigan. In addition to his wife of 52 years, Mr. Hannigan is survived by two daughters, Sharon Pawsey (Colin) and Susan Grant (Mark), both of Woodstock; a grandson, Adam Thomas Pawsey; two brothers, Joseph Hannigan (Margaret) of Barrie, Ontario, and Leo Arthur Hannigan (Sheila) of Grand Bay-Westfield; two sisters, Awilda McIntosh (Donald) of Bristol and Ruby Haynes of Stickney; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dale MacDonald will be officiating, with interment at a later date in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
