Shawn Joseph Tomah of Woodstock First Nation passed away at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Friday, May 05, 2006, at the age of 37. Shawn (Budgie) Tomah is survived by his wife Andrea (Henderson) Tomah; two sons Travis and Kody, and one daughter Brooke. He is also survived by his parents, Raymond and Dianna (Briggs) Tomah; two brothers, Matthew and Joe all of Woodstock First Nation; his parents-in-law Thane and Marion Henderson of Debec, and several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Stephen Hoyt will be officiating, with interment in the Lindsay Cemetery.
