Ruth Mary (Whelan) Minor of Woodstock, NB passed away on  Sunday, Dec 11, 2022, at the age of 85  in the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB.

Ruth was born in Toronto, Ontario on April 29, 1937.  She was the daughter of the late Francis and Gladys (Eldberry) Whelan.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband Gary Minor of Woodstock, NB; one daughter Irene Kalmar of Hamilton, Ontario; granddaughter Sherri Kalmar, (great-granddaughter Mia Macleod);  granddaughter Carrie Kalmar (grandchildren Aiden, Jorden, Bryson, and Tiania Kalmar). One sister June McFarlane (Art) of Stoney Creek, Ontario.

Besides her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her daughter Jackie Lynn Kalmar; sister Rita; brothers Bud, George, and Joe.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB

By request there will be no visitation or Funeral Service at this time, A family Memorial Service will be held at a later time at the Mount Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, Ontario
