Obituary

BROOKS, Ronald *Ronnie* Ernest - of Upper Skiff Lake, NB passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at the age of 67.

Ronald worked at the Victory Meat Market in Fredericton as a meat cutter. He was also a custodian at the Fredericton Justice Building. Upon his retirement, Ronald moved to Upper Skiff Lake, where he enjoyed the country life. He loved his animals, and he loved to visit with his neighbors.

Ronald is survived by three sisters, Joyce (James) McClenaghan, Barbara Little (Vaughan), and Brenda (Jim) Toth; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was pre-deceased his parents, Ernest and Pearl (Sewell) Brooks; one sister, Marie Carlisle; and one brother, Irvine Brooks.

Following cremation at the Scott Crematorium , 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, visitation was held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 1 pm until service time at 2:30 pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Charles Yerxa officiated, with interment in the Upper Skiff Lake Cemetery at a later date.
