BLACK, Ronald Thompson - of Woodstock, NB, formerly of Bloomfield, NB, passed away at the Carleton Manor on September 3, 2011 at the age of 86.
Ronald was born on August 28, 1925 son of the late Guy and Helena (Kerr) Black. Ron was pre-deceased by his late wife of 38 years, Garnella A. (Bell) Black; two brothers, Glen Black, and Harrison Black, as well as one sister, Evelyn Lewis. Ron is survived by his wife of 23 years, Audrey (Carmichael-London) Black; three sons, Terry (Connie) Black of Bloomfield; Dwayne (Lisa) Black of Oakville; and Dale (Lisa) Black of Bloomfield; six grandchildren, Pam, Shawn, Candace, Brock, Meghan and Ashley; two great grandchildren, Nathan and Allison; two sisters, Velma Kidney, and Marilyn Strong; three step-children, Cheryl Lively, Connie Flemming, Stephen (Nancy) London; seven step-grandchildren, Melanie and Colleen Lively, Mitchell and Michelle Flemming, Jeremy (Sandey) London, Daphne and Crystal London; three step-great grandchildren, Joshua and Felicity Lively, Bella London; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held on September 6, 2011 from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Stephen Hoyt officiated assisted by Rev. Dale MacDonald, with interment in the United Church Cemetery Bloomfield, NB.
