Roger Edward Alborg died peacefully on August 6th, 2024, at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, New Brunswick, at the age of 80.

Roger was born on August 17th, 1943, to Edward and Olga Alborg.

Roger was a creative man. He was an artist who loved life and who sought and saw beauty everywhere. Roger enjoyed traveling, trying new cuisines, camping, and watching classic comedy movies. He also enjoyed collecting antiques, especially books and toys. He was an avid astronomer and was deeply moved by music. His favorite quote was "'Tis the set of the sails, and not the gales, that tells the way we go." During his final month's he said that he would die a happy man, having lived a good life.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Fran, his daughters, Michele, Monica, and Amber, his granddaughter, Charlotte, and his brother, Thomas.

Roger's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff that, provided excellent and compassionate care during the final months of his life.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home,  815 Main Street Woodstock, NB.

There will be,  no visitation or a funeral service per Roger's wishes.
