Robert passed away in Woodstock, NB on October 27, 2019. Robert was born on March 20, 1954 in Woodstock, NB and grew up and went to school at their residence on the Rosedale road, between Woodstock and Hartland, NB. Robert was the son of Burton Elwood Delong and Margaret Alberta Wright Delong. Bob also attended school in Hartland, NB. Robert was a mechanic by profession and worked at various locations in New Brunswick, British Columbia and Alberta. He had a passion for motor bikes, especially Harley Davidsons. Robert was pre-deceased by both his father and mother.

Robert is survived by one son, Brady Fredericks of Fredericton, NB and one daughter Jennifer MacIvor of Edmonton, Alberta. He as two grandsons, Austin Fredericks, Marcus MacIvor-Cote and granddaughter  Hayden MacIvor-Cote. Robert is also survived by two half brothers, David (Linda) McAffee of Temple, NB and Paul (Ann) McAffee of Waterville, NB. And two nephews and one niece and many more friends he has made along the way.

A celebration of Life will be held for  Robert DeLong on Saturday November 9, 2019 from 1 pm - 4 pm.  at the Scott Funeral Home,
