Olive Geneva MacDougall of Debec passed away at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Friday, May 25, 2007, at the age of 96. Olive is survived by one son, John (Jackie) MacDougall and his wife June of Ohsweken, ON; one granddaughter Leslie MacDougall (Diane) of Brampton, ON; two grandsons Michael and Jill MacDougall of BelleEwart, ON, James and Lisa MacDougall of Lefrey, ON; great granddaughters Jihan, Ashley, Taylor,and Leah; a sister Ethel Dewar of St. Stephen, NB; and several nieces and nephews including Vivian and Glen Cummings of Wakefield and Freda Culkin of Ottawa, ON; and many cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Ezra and Caroline (Doherty) Spinney; a grand daughter Laurie-ann; sisters Margaret, Ruth, Muriel, and Ida, and by brothers Douglas, Joseph, Carl, Albert, Henry. Visiting will be on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Trinity United Church, Debec. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Trinity United Church. The Rev. Dr. Beverley Brasier will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to Trinity United Church or to St. Johns United MacKenzie Corner. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock.
