HAYWOOD, Nina Jean - of Woodstock, NB passed away at Carleton Manor, Woodstock on Friday, July 13, 2012, at the age of 86.

Born at Port Maitland, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Edward John and Marjorie Sarah (Mullen) Smith. Nina is survived by her husband, Rev. Eric M. Haywood; a daughter, Deborah A. Grant (Paul) of Woodstock; three sisters, Muriel McGuire (Owen) of Millville, Viola Lewis (Wallie) of Enfield, Nova Scotia, and Clara Bickford (Murray) of Nauwigewauk , NB; two sister inlaws Annabelle Smith of Kelona, BC, and Faye Smith of Kanata, Ontario; grandchildren, Caitlin Grant (Billy); Toby Grant (Christy); Kelly Everett (Rodney); great grandchildren Austin, Alexis, Trew, Paxton, Emma and Alex; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents,

Nina was predeceased by four brothers, Hartley, Durell, Melvin and Merle Smith; and one sister, Lillian Frost.

The funeral service was held on July 16, 2012 from the Hartland Wesleyan Church. Rev. Mel Norton officiated, assisted by Rev. Dale MacDonald with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hartland, NB .
