It is with heavy hearts that the family of Myrna Marie (Moorcroft) Cox announces her passing at the Upper River Valley Hospital on August 22, 2025.

Myrna was born on January 16,1935 in Pinder York Co. She was the daughter of the late Victor and Mona (Bragdon) Moorcroft. Myrna is survived by her son Dale (Kathy) daughter Brenda, Grandchildren Jason (Maressa) Cox, Jennifer (Thomas) Collier, five great grandchildren Hannah & Logan Cox, Leah, Kohan & Klaire Collier.  One sister Mary Power, one brother Alton(Liz)Moorcroft, sister in law Muriel Moorcroft, brother in law Wendell Smith of Manotick Ontario many nieces and nephews and her favourite companion Joey.

Myrna was predeceased by her husband Don, daughter Rhonda Marie, sisters Lula May (Tootie) Atkinson, Hazel Farrell, Linda Smith, Irene Beers and brother Ed Moorcroft and brother in laws Gordon Power, Laurel Atkinson and sister in law Eva (Cox) Smith.
Myrna and Don were married September 15, 1954.  Myrna began working with Don at Cox's Shoe Store and then at Tarp-Rite Inc.  Myrna was honoured to have received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award from the Woodstock Rotary Club.

The family would like to thank all the people who helped care for Myrna the past 3 weeks, the Paramedics, everyone in the ER, on 2 East, 2 North and at home.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB

There will be no visitation.   Funeral Service will be Tuesday August 26 2025 at 1 pm at  the Scott Funeral Home Chapel.  Reverend Michael Goodfellow will be officiating.

Interment  will take place immediately following the service at the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Memory of Myrna will be the Donor's Choice.
