M. Lillian E. MacDonald of Belleville, wife of the late Murray MacDonald, passed away at the Carleton Manor in Woodstock on Sunday, August 22, 2004, at the age of 86. Born in Pembroke, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late George Robert and Lillian (Karnegie) Richardson. Lillian is survived by three sons, William J. MacDonald, Brian R. MacDonald (Connie) and Glynn N. MacDonald (Karen), all of Toronto; four daughters, Miriam M. McIntosh of Belleville, NB, Myrna D. Arlidge (Vic) of Hamilton, ON, Sharon E. MacDonald of Oshawa, ON, and Faye Hackett (Pat) of Toronto; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by a son-in-law, James McIntosh. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM from the Scott Funeral Home. Rev. Ed Sealy will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
