She was born Marjorie Anna Walters on August 16, 1910 in the Village of Debec. Her parents were Thomas Walters, born in Birmingham, England, and Wilda Henderson, born in Debec. Marjorie's mother died in 1919 when she was 9 years old.

Marjorie married Charles Silas Blue on June 9, 1937. She and Charles lived in Debec until he passed away in 1977. She is survived by her two children, Laurie Blue and his wife Ruth of Centreville and Carolyn Porter and her husband Gordon of Woodstock. She is also survived by grandchildren Linda Hoskins, Toronto, Kelly Blue-McQuade, Debec, Charles Blue, Toronto, Timothy Porter, Fredericton and Jane Porter, Woodstock, as well as a nephew, Jack Parkinson, Richmond Corner, and a niece, Dawn Matheson, Bellville, Ontario. Marjorie also leaves several great grandchildren.

Marjorie was the last member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by sister's Hazel Waitt, Doris Laverty, Muriel Parkinson and her brother Lloyd Walters.

Marjorie had a strong Christian faith and was a faithful member of Trinity United Church in Debec and later St. James United Church in Woodstock. Marjorie was known for her warm and generous personality and her interest in the lives of her family and friends. She dealt with the challenges of life but was always focused on the positive path ahead.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Scott Funeral Home, Woodstock, NB from 4:00- 7:00 pm on Monday, January 25, 2010. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 26 at 11:00 am at Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Debra Baker will be officiating with Internment in the United Church Cemetery, MacKenzie Corner, NB.

A tree will be planted in NB in Memory of " Marjorie " as part of Our Living Memorial program
- commemorating one generation and caring for the next.
