The death of Dr. Malcolm E. Margison of Woodstock, husband of M. Joan (Holden) Margison, occurred on Friday, July 9, 2004 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital. Born in Woodstock, he was the son of the late Burchell and Madelyn M. (Wilcox) Margison. Dr. Margison was a General Practitioner and Anaesthetist for over 40 years, practising in Hartland, Woodstock, and Halifax. In addition to his wife, Dr. Margison is survived by two daughters, Kim (Mike) Brkish of Chilliwack, BC, and Judy (Emery) Hyslop-Margison of Muncie, Indiana; three sons, Andy (Tracey) Margison of Halifax, Eric Margison of Lakeville, NB, and Peter Margison of Calgary, AB; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Meredith, Anthony, Shawna, Mitchell, Chelsea, Ashleigh, and Caitlin; and by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. The Venerable Walter Williams will officiate, with interment to follow in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
