Lloyd George DeMerchant of Woodstock passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the age of 89 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Lloyd is survived by a daughter, Linda Fox of Woodstock, one son Neil DeMerchant and a grandson, Christopher Fox, both of Hamilton, Ontario. He was pre-deceased by his wife Margaret (MacEwen) and his parents Perry and Nellie (Taylor) DeMerchant. By request of the family all services for Lloyd will be private. Interment will be in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery at a later date.
