WILLIAMS, Lillian Sarah - of Debec, NB. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Lillian Sarah (Carr) Williams on Dec 10th, 2011 at the Carleton Manor, Woodstock, NB . Born on May 12, 1915 she was the daughter of the late Colvin Carr and Maude (Griffin) Carr.
Lillian lived in Debec with her husband Johnny where they enjoyed many years together. She loved gardening and cooking for her family and many visitors. She was always ready with a cup of tea ! She was a caring Mother and loved all the little ones who eventually came into her family. Lillian is survived by her son, Eugene and his wife Thelma of Moncton and her daughter,Sylvia and her husband Jim Young of Riverview, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, sisters in law Jessie Carr, and Muriel Carr; many nieces and nephews.
She is the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by her husband Johnny, a grandson Lief Williams, Sisters Faye, Helena, Evelyn, Eunice and brothers Fred, Floyd and Allan; sister in law Betty Carr.
Funeral Service was held on December 14, 2011 from the St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. Father John Keoughan officiated with internment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
