Lemuel Robert
David Best
Dec 28, 1987 — Feb 25, 2024
Woodstock
Lem was an amazing Father, the Best Dad to his children, and an amazing partner, he loved his family more than anything and would've done anything he could for them. A great worker, he was a man of many talents a millwright if you will, he was a welder, carpenter, mechanic, sandblaster, coordinator, operator and so much more. He loved to learn and keep busy. He always faced whatever challenges life threw his way still smiling, and was always there for anybody he called a friend. He was born in Mississauga, Ontario December 28, 1987, and passed peacefully at home surrounded by his closest family on February 25, 2024, at the age of 36.
Lem loved his kids more than anything else, and he fought long and hard to stay with us. His lifelong battle with polycystic kidneys however caught up to him. And shortly after life threw him another hurdle. He was diagnosed with an incurable cancer as well. He fought his battle with so much bravery and strength. He had a whole team of support and so many people who loved and will remember him, too many friends to count, and an abundance of family, born into and built on his own.
Lem was always the life of the party, could make anybody smile, and would try anything once, he had so many stories to share and memories he held dear. He lived a full life and though he was young, he lived many years more than his age would tell you. And for that we are grateful. His time was cut short here and we will miss him tremendously, though we will find comfort in the years we had him and the memories we've made.
Lem was born in Mississauga Ontario on the family's way to Newfoundland, he was born with polycystic kidneys and had to undergo treatment, he spent a short time of his childhood in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and the majority was spent in Newfoundland surrounded by family and friends. He went back to Alberta in his later years as a young adult. He built a beautiful life there and continued on and moved to New Brunswick, taking with him his fiance and two children.
Lem will be mourned by many and has left behind a large amount of family, his fiance Karly Post, and two children Skylar and Lennox Best. His Sister Billi Best her fiance James, and his treasured neice Aela. His Father David Best and Partner Deanne. Mother Bonnie Noel. Along with so many Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, Karly's family who have grown to love Lemuel as their own, as well as his many friends.
He may be gone but will never be forgotten,
His memory will live on in all who had the opportunity to know him. Those who didn't really missed out on an amazing man.
Always Loving You Lem.
