Keith Collin Bornn
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Keith Collin Bornn on May 13, 2026 at the age of 77, at the Upper River Valley Hospital.
Keith is lovingly remembered by his wife of many years, Elaine; his daughter, Sandra (Michael); and his grandson, Collin, of whom he was immensely proud.
He was the son of the late Wilhelmenia and Henry Bornn, and the brother of Douglas, Gerald, and Wesley.
Keith dedicated his entire professional career to service in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Infantry Officer with the Royal Canadian Regiment. Over the course of his military career, he served across Canada and abroad on multiple United Nations peacekeeping missions, eventually retiring with the rank of Major.
Following his retirement, Keith continued his work with the Dominion of Canada Rifle Association (DCRA), where he played an important role in the operation and administration of shooting facilities and programs. His work supported cadets, newly enlisted military members, and civilian competitors, as well as national and international long-range rifle competitions.
Together, Keith and Elaine enjoyed many years of travel, visiting the places they had always wanted to see. They especially enjoyed cruises and wintering in the south.
After moving to Woodstock, New Brunswick, in 2014, Keith became an avid golfer and especially enjoyed Thursday Seniors’ Days at Covered Bridge Golf Course.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home & Crematorium, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB
In keeping with Keith’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or memorial.
For those who wish, donations in Keith’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
