Kathleen Evelyn Fraser passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Kathleen, fondly known by family and many friends as Tootie, was born on December 2, 1936 in Saint John New Brunswick and was a graduate of Saint John Vocational School. Her husband's military career took her to many different parts of Canada. Kathleen was a familiar face to many in Woodstock when she and Fen operated Makin' Donuts. She was a member of St. Lukes Anglican Church, the Ladies Guild and Social Club. Kathy was predeceased by her loving husband Fenwick MacLean Fraser and her parents Cedric C. Bennett and Evelyn G. (Robertson) Bennett. Kathy is survived by; sons, Daryl (Kelly) Fraser, Kentville, N.S., Dwight (Fay) Woodstock, N.B., and James of Vancouver; grandchildren, Lori (Andy) Collicott, Canterbury N.B., Trevor, Scott, and Samantha Fraser of Woodstock and great-grandson Benjamin Collicott, Canterbury; sisters, Lillian Fraser, Saint John, Margaret Bennett, Ottawa, brothers, Russell Bennett (Myrna) Halifax, N.S. Gordon (Kay) Bennett, Oromocto, N.B,; as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Kathy's care providers, Natalie, Rena and Mary as well as all the other health care professionals that provided excellent and loving care during her illness. Visitation will be at Scott's Funeral Home, Woodstock on Monday May 26th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church on Tuesday, May 27th at 2:00pm. Burial will be at Fernhill Cemetery in Saint John beside her late husband Fen on Wednesday, May 28th, 2008 at 11:00 am.
