It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce W. DeLong (Price) on Jan 22, 2025 at Hospice House in Fredericton, N.B.

Joyce was the daughter of the late Ruby and Harry Price in Priceville. She was born July 21st 1941.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd DeLong, and her loving daughters, Charlene Quackenbush (Tony) and Darlene Johnston (Jason). Joyce was a loving wife , mother and grandmother to Misty, Melanie, Bradley, Corey and Courtney, a great grandmother to Koby, Kale, Myah, Mason, Jace Liam, Lily, Avery, Sofia and Beaudy and a proud great great grandmother to Mateo.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Shirley Price and Lorraine Logan. She is survived by her sister Etta Hovey and her brothers, Willard Price (Karen) and Vim Price (Marilyn). She is also survived by her special sisters in-law, Susie Davidson, Gaynell Green, Sylvia DeLong Claudia Poole and Alice Stairs. Joyce also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as her cherished friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, volunteers, and staff of Fredericton's Hospice House for their exceptional care of Joyce during her final days. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

Joyce will be remembered for her giving personality and for her homecooked meals, her homemade bread, biscuits and molasses cookies were the best. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB.

Visitation will be held on Sunday Jan 26, 2025 from 11 am- 2 pm at the Scott Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 2 pm, form the Scott Funeral Home Chapel.

Rev. Eardy Price will be officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery, at a later date .

For those who wish to make memorial donations, donations to the Fredericton Hospice House would be greatly appreciated by the family.
