Voye, Joline Simonson (nee Turner)
Passed away at the DECH on Saturday, May 14, 2016 in her 89th year.
Daughter of the late James Simonson Turner and Lorna Doone Turner (Turnbull).
Joline is survived by and will be dearly missed by her only daughter Joanne Page and her husband Jesse; a sister Jean (King) and her husband Rev. Lindsay King; 3 grandchildren – James, Jared (Susan), Kathryn (Scott); Daughter-in-law Debi Voye; Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Roland James Voye in 1995, her parents, and also her two sons, James and David.
Joline was a graduate of Mount Allison University, Graduated from the Victoria Public Hospital School of Nursing Fredericton as a Registered Nurse; she was a Nursing Science Instructor, Infection Control and Acting Pharmacist before retiring in 1980 from the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock.
She was member of the Order of the Eastern Star Victoria Chapter No. 1, and the United Church of Canada. Joline was an avid reader, enjoyed her winters in Florida, travelling, playing bridge, golf, and spending time with family and friends.
Visitation at the Scotts Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB on Thursday, May 19 from 11AM – 1PM. Followed by Funeral and Eastern Star Service in the Scotts Funeral Home Chapel at 1 pm.
Interment at the Fredericton Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, NB.
