John Carlon Pratt of Woodstock, husband of the late Mabel C. (Amos) Pratt (to whom he was married for 62 years), passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 29, 2005, at the age of 93. Born at Carlisle, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Albert and Minerva (Kimball) Pratt. John is survived by a son, Howard Pratt (Joan) of Woodstock; a daughter, Alta Olmstead of Wicklow; a grandson, John Pratt of Kamloops, BC; two granddaughters, Heather Bowater (Kevin) of Hartford and Janine Pratt of Woodstock; a great granddaughter, Jenna Bowater; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Monday from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. William Bryant and Mr. Gordon Hazelwood will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery at a later date.
