Joanne Marie Grant of Woodstock passed away at her home on Monday, July 25, 2005. Born at Woodstock, she was the daughter of Winona Marie (Graham) Hawkes and the late Kenneth Hawkes. In addition to her mother, Joanne is survived by her son, Jamieson Grant (Jennifer) of Nackawic; her daughter, Jennifer Grant of Thunder Bay, Ontario; two sisters, Deborah Turner (David) of Woodstock and Lisa McCutcheon (Joe) of Nackawic; three brothers, Michael Hawkes (Bev) of Woodstock, Steven Hawkes (Verna) of Nackawic, and James Hawkes of Moncton; two grandsons, Riley and Gage Grant; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Joanne was predeceased by a sister, Kathy Thomas. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A graveside committal service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
