Jeannine A. (Grass) Monteith 81, died May 17, 2019 in Bangor, Maine. She was born Feb. 4, 1938 in Woodstock, NB, Canada, the daughter of C. Harrison and Nina A. (Cook) Monteith. Jeannine was the eldest of 11 children and grew up in the Woodstock/Grafton area before marrying and moving to Houlton to raise her family. She worked as a bookkeeper, waitress, and retail clerk for several years and loved to cook, dance, and listen to music.

Surviving are three children, Dale Grass of and his wife Tammy of Calais, Maine, Cindy Harris of Florida, and Bonnie Quint and her husband, Andrew of Hodgdon, Maine; grandchildren, Ariana, Camden, Cassie, Logan, Kendra, Heath, Reese, Connie, and Brandi; three great- grandchildren, Cooper, Caila, and Colson. She was predeceased by her parents, grandson, Conner Quint ,and by several of her siblings.

Interment Service will be held on June 26, 2024 at 11:15 am at the  Kirk Cemetery, Northampton. NB
