J. W. Scott Munn of Woodstock, husband of Faye (Dorcas) Munn, died on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital at the age of 82. Born at Parker Ridge, he was a son of the late Earl and Sadie (Scott) Munn. In addition to his wife of 61 years, Scott is survived by two sons, Bart Munn (Cathy) of Toronto and Paul Munn (Gail) of Saint John; three grandchildren, Chris, Alex, and Jessica; two brothers, Harvey Munn of Bloomfield Ridge and Delbert Munn of St. Catherine's, Ontario; four sisters, Audrey Abernethy of Bloomfield Ridge, Marguerite Calhoun of Fredericton, Loretta Peacock of Williamsburg, and Althea Norrad of Sudbury, Ontario; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Scott was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Hershel; and by a sister, Merle. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Main Street, Woodstock. The Venerable Walter Williams will be officiating, with interment in Christ Church Cemetery, Lower Woodstock.
