J. Irene Elizabeth Webb (nee Barrett) passed away peacefully in Vernon, B.C. on January 13, 2024. Irene is predeceased by her husband, Frederick Webb, her son-in-law, Warren J. Morris, and her granddaughter, Jessica Webb, as well as her parents, Arthur and Nina Barrett, and all of her siblings Louise, George, Edwin, and Arthur.

She is survived by her children, Cindy Morris of Calgary, AB;  Janice Everett (Jack) of Burnaby, BC.; Martin Webb (Joanne) of Armstrong, B.C.; Rick Webb (Donna) of Saskatoon, SK; her grandchildren, Christine Keech (Jon),  Alayna Silverberg (Jon), Warren F. Morris (Natalie), Lesley Everett, Allison Webb, Harrison Webb; and her great-grandchildren Brandon, Lexton, Catherine, and Zachary.

Irene was born on January 23, 1937, in Upper Jacksonville, New Brunswick. She met Fred in high school when she was 14 and he was 16. They were together over 60 years when Fred passed away in 2013. Irene enjoyed working on the Tobique and in the Arctic with her husband and traveling across Canada and the United States.

A memorial service for both Irene and Fred will be held on July 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Scott Funeral Chapel, 815 Main St., Woodstock, N.B.
