Hugh Garfield Graham of Woodstock, and formerly of Maxwell, passed away at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Monday, January 31, 2005, at the age of 100. Born at Houlton, Maine, he was the son of the late Thomas John and Elizabeth Hannah (Hawkes) Graham. Hugh is survived by a sister, Beatrice Murray (Fred) of Woodstock; a brother, Raymond of Woodstock; and several nieces and nephews. Hugh was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Tuesday from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM from Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Stephen Gough will be officiating, with interment in St. David's Cemetery, Kirkland at a later date.
