Hildred Bertha Antworth of Upper Woodstock, wife of the late Allen Antworth, passed away at the Carleton Manor in Woodstock on Friday, March 16, 2007, at the age of 90. Born at Sumerfield, Carleton County, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Winnie (Lunn) Hamilton. Hildred is survived by three sons, Donald Antworth and his wife Jane of Upper Woodstock, Darrell Antworth and his wife Jane of Slavan Lake, AB, and Deane Antworth and his wife Barbara of Upper Woodstock. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Hildred was predeceased by a brother Arnold Hamilton, and a sister, Lillian Eastwood. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 :00 pm from Jacksonville United Church of Canada. Rev. Sung Min Jung will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery at a later date.
