Henry Lewis Kennedy - with sad hearts we announce the sudden passing of Henry, a beloved husband, father and brother in London Ontario on December 26, 2007. Henry was born November 15, 1947, in Woodstock New Brunswick, the son of the late John and Gladys (Armour) Kennedy. He is survived by his wife Vera and step-son Marty of London, daughters Meghan of Chelsea, Quebec and Beth (Dwayne Smith) of Ottawa, sisters Louise (Billings) of Fredericton, Susan of Rothesay, brothers David (Polly) of Woodstock, Bruce (Alice) of Hampton and sister in law Shirley of Montreal as well as 14 nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his father, mother and brother Ronald. Henry, a retired Inspector with the RCMP, took great pride in his 33year long career where he served in various divisions while stationed in Cape Breton, Ottawa and London. His retirement allowed him to renew his passion for home renovations and carpentry, which has always been a favorite hobby of his. Henry will be remembered fondly for his love of laughter and his generosity towards others. Resting at Scott's Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, visitation will be on Sunday December 30th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am from the Scott's Funeral Home Chapel.. Rev Garth McKay officiating, with internment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
