Harold Peter Haynes of Brockway, formerly of Woodstock, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at the age of 96 years. Born at Plymouth, New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Levi Beecher and Jennie Myrtle (Hay) Haynes. Harold is survived by his wife, Shirley L. (Powers) Haynes; two daughters, Nancy McHatten (Larry) of Brockway, NB, and Sandra Ellis of Brockway, NB. He is also survived by several grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Harold was predeceased by three brothers, Gordon, Herman and Corliss Haynes.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, with visiting on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 2-4 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm from The Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dale MacDonald will be officiating, assisted by Rev. Milton Bagley, with interment in the Haynes Community Cemetery.
