Obituary

It is with great shock, disbelief, and sadness the family of Greg (Gregory) Inman announce his sudden passing.

Greg had many jobs in his life that he enjoyed from working in Ottawa; president of the NB Firefighters Curling Association; Executive Assistant to Jim Prentice in Calgary, AB; Perth-Andover Fire Department, and many more, leading to becoming an owner with his son Nick of Kojax. He enjoyed working day to day with Nick, Meagan, and Alayna. But the job he loved most was being Grampy. From going on Loop-d-Loops with the oldest grandson Roman to giving tractor rides with Allison, Easton, and Gage, taking walks with them, to sleepovers at Grampy's or just sitting on the couch snuggling watching movies. He had the biggest grin when the newest granddaughter would wave and say, "Hi Papa". Anytime a grandchild was mentioned, he beamed with pride. He loved watching them grow and encouraged them to try new things, to spread their wings and follow their dreams. From Spring to Fall, you could hear the chainsaw or tree trimmer. If it was quiet, you could find him on the bench by the river, as he'd say, "Just watching the river flow by". He found peace and happiness on that bench.

Survived by his loving wife and best friend of 25 years, Phyllis Tingley; sons Nicholas (Meagan) Inman, Trevor Inman; step-children Ronald (Ashley) Smith, Johnathon (Elektra) Smith, Patricia Smith, and as he called her, his bonus daughter Alayna Keith; his 8 grandchildren Allison, Easton, Gage, Roman, Xavier, Knox, Elara, and Oslo; his siblings Judy (Ron Jodrie), Michael Inman, Debbie Inman Howell, Beth (John) Larsen, Shelly (David) Morgan, Cathy (Denis) Mires; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Bertram Inman and Margaret (Peggy) Inman White, and sister Ann Inman Cronin.
