Gerda Dove of Woodstock, wife of the late Perley James Dove, passed away at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Thursday, November 25, 2004, at the age of 81. Mrs. Dove is survived by her daughter, Sanna Dickinson of Woodstock; and two sons, Barry Dove of Edmonton, Alberta and Dwight Dove of Regina, Saskatchewan. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Eric Paulson. In keeping with Mrs. Dove's wishes, no formal funeral services will be observed. Interment will take place at a later date in Pugwash, Nova Scotia. Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Scott Funeral Home and Crematorium, 815 Main Street, Woodstock (328-3179).
