Obituary

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Gerald Anson Inman on March 3, 2023, at Saint John Regional Hospital.

He was born on July 3, 1935, to the late Harold and Elva(Kerr) Inman in Kilburn, NB. He studied ministry at Bethany Bible College in Yarmouth, NS. He then served at several churches beginning in Londonderry, NS, Shelbourne, NS, Havelock, NB, Dalhousie, NB, and settled in Hartland, NB. He married Auralie Tidd on August 29, 1958, at Seal Cove, Grand Manan. They raised two beautiful children, Karen and Kevin.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Auralie(Tidd) Inman of Woodstock, NB, and his son Kevin(Judy) Inman of Perth Andover, NB. Grandchildren: Colin(Stephanie) Purcell of Greenwood NS, Tasha(JR) of Squamish BC, Krystle(Jarrett) Purcell of Woodstock NB, Emily(Tyler) Grant of Calgary AB, Alicia(Dylan) Aubin of Fredericton NB and Matthew Inman of Woodstock NB, Tasha(Johnathan) Baker of Hartland NB, Curtis(Andie) Rioux of NFLD, Amelia(Matthew) Kirkland of Woodstock NB. Brothers: Paul(Hazel) Inman of Fredericton, NB, and Percy(Gloria) Inman of Keswick Valley, NB. Sisters: Maxine Osborne of Calgary, AB, and Ruth(George) Davidson of Kilburn, NB. Great grandchildren: Corbyn, Everleigh, Sabastian, Khloe, Addison, Oakley, Willow, Kelsey, Aiden, Austin, Maya, Ashton, Emery, Nathan, and Abaddon.

He was preceded by his parents, brother John Inman, sisters Clara Jackson and Flora Nye, daughter Karen Purcell and great-grandson Easton.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB

Visitation will be held at the Woodstock Wesleyan Church, 340 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville, NB  on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 12 pm to 2 pm.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Woodstock Wesleyan Church beginning at 2 pm  (following the visitation)., and luncheon in the gym.

Donations can be made to Woodstock Wesleyan Church in Jacksonville, NB, or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
