Gary Paul Cleal of Limestone, NB, passed away on December 5, 2023 at URVH. He was born on June 13, 1953, in Saint John, NB, the son of the late Charles "Herb" Cleal and Margaret "Viola" Cleal (nee Daneff).

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Cleal (nee Noble) of Glen Levit, NB, his son Gary Paul Cleal (Bethany)of McAdam, daughters Tomalyn Scott (Walter) of McAdam, Jessica Duncan (Kenny) of Waverly, NS, Cheyenne Cleal Parish (Caleb) of Two Brooks, NB, Tabatha Cleal of Meductic, NB, step-children Stephanie Garrett of Prince William, NB and David Garrett (Stephanie) of Moncton, NB.

Also surviving Gary are his grandchildren Luke (Chiara), Hannah (Isaac), Mylie, Brianna, Kaylah, Sadie, Janessa, Whyatt, Keegan, Belle and Billie.

Gary has two surviving brothers, Joseph Cleal (Grace) and Peter Pearson (Pauline) who both reside in Saint John, NB

Gary was predeceased by his parents and two grandchildren, Hunter and Madison.

Gary worked for thirty-eight years for the Department of Social Development as the Adult Residential Facility Coordinator.  Gary loved his work and his work family so much that he stayed working until January 1, 2023.  Gary loved his family and friends fiercely and loyally.  To those who returned that, Gary's heart knew no bounds.

Gary was an avid outdoorsman and loved nature.  The family is requesting in lieu of flowers a donation be placed to the Meduxnekeag River Nature Preserve or a memorial of the donor's choice.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB.

Visitation is to be held at the Scott Funeral Home in Woodstock, NB on Friday, December 8th between the hours of 10 am and 12 noon.

The memorial service will be held at the Scott Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 1 pm.  Pastor Rich Woollin will be officiating  Interment will be held in the Spring.
