Garnett Craig Fox of Woodstock, NB passed away Sunday January 31, 2021 at the Upper River Valley Hospital.  Born at Pokiok ,NB on  January 4 1939. He was 82.

Garnett was predeceased by wife Muriel; his father Elbridge Fox; his mother Isabel [Byram] Fox; also, his father in law Perry McIntyre and mother in law Marion McIntyre.

Garnett is survived by siblings Olan [Catherine] Woodstock, Dana [Barb] Nackawic, Lorraine Fisk [Allison] Pokiok, Ellen Carson [Neil] Fredericton, Donna McDermott [Amos] Pokiok.   Brothers in law Gary Mcintyre [Ann] and Perry Mcintyre Jr. [Barb] both of Fredericton;plus his nieces and nephews ,all considered " special" by Garnett.

Garnett's work experience started with his father at " the mill". He soon realized driving transport was to be his life vocation. He often said getting in the truck was "about the same as going on vacation". This he did for many years mostly for Day & Ross. Garnett finished his working life with Jolly Farmer. This, in Garnett's opinion, was the best job he had.

When not working, Garnett and Muriel would travel the Maritimes in their camper. Too, Garnett loved the woods [Pokiok] and hunted and fished whenever possible. The camp at Little Pokiok was a very special place.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank those involved in Garnett's care. Particularly, NB Social Development Staff, the Extra Mural  Nurses, Home Care Staff Lois and Tracy as well as Dr. Alborg.

Garnet is resting at the Scott Funeral  Home, 815 Upper Main Street, Woodstock, NB .

A Grave Side Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday May 5, 2021 at the Woodstock, Rural Cemetery.

Friends and family are welcome to attend.
