Frank Smith of Northampton, NB passed away at the Saint John regional Hospital on Wednesday January 27, 2021 at the age of 72.

Frank is  survived by common-law wife Linda Chase; four daughters, Kimberly (Joseph) Larsen, Tammie (Terrance (Ted)) Kaye, Heather (Richard) Doucette, and Juanita (Andrew) Drayson; three step sons, Calvin (Katelynn) Powers, Paul (Cora) Powers, and Joshua (Alicia) Powers; brothers Dale Smith, Eldon (Cathy) Smith, and Dana (Mary) Smith; sisters Bonnie Jensen and Daphne Schriver; grandchildren Brianna (Josh) Kaye, Carissa Doucette, Brielle (Carlin) Kaye, Thomas (Kayley) Kaye, Matthew Larsen, Evan Doucette, Andrew Larsen, and James Larsen; great-granddaughter Lilly-May Kaye; step-grandchildren Kohen Powers, Cole Powers, Jazmyn Powers, and Sadie Jade Powers.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, infant sister, Marie, and granddaughter Britny Kaye.

Frank joined the Navy at age 17, leaving after basic training. At age 19, he married Anne Stokoe and started his family. He worked for many years for Atlantic Wholesalers, and drove transport. He also worked several years at the Woodstock Community Arena and sharpened skates for many people in the area.

He went to Nova Scotia Agricultural Collage and earned his certificate in Agriculture. He then returned to Woodstock and taught agriculture for a few years at the Woodstock Community College.

He enjoyed dressing as Santa and visiting with children and the elderly in nursing homes.

He enjoyed travelling which included several trips to North Carolina, Newfoundland, Florida, Washington DC and many other places.

He retired at age 65 from Woodstock Superstore and spent his remaining years travelling.

Frank is resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB

Graveside Memorial Service will be held for Frank  on Saturday May 29, 2021 at  11 am.   At the Grafton Cemetery .

Brother John Hann will be Officiating.
