Florence Adeline Johnston of Woodstock, wife of Harold G. Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at the Carleton Memorial Hospital. Florence was the daughter of the late James and Vera (Estey) Thomas. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Heidi Johnston of Woodstock and Martha Sharp (Scott) of Millville; three sisters, Rena Boudreau of Oak Bay, Betty Boudreau of Douglas, and Paula Girvan of Kintore; two grandchildren, Savanna and Nathan Sharp; and several nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by three sisters, Hilda Davenport, Rita Thomas, and Guida MacDougall; and by two brothers, Gerald Thomas and Richard Thomas. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 3:00 PM from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. The Ven. Walter S. Williams will be officiating, with interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Perth-Andover at a later date.
