BOWLIN, Eugene Joseph - of Woodstock passed away at Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at the age of 93. Eugene is survived by his wife Mary ; two sons Thomas ( Nancy) Bowlin of Darthmouth, NS, Michael Bowlin of Fredericton, NB; two daughters Catherine ( Mac) MacDonald of Greenwood, NS and Moira Bowlin of Ottawa, Ontario; one sister Mary Bowlin of Fredericton, NB; six grandchildren Maria, Malcolm, Kim, Jamie, Matthew and Michael; one great granddaughter Heather, several nieces and nephews. Eugene served in the Canadian Army during WWII . He was a Councillor of the Town of Woodstock and well known business man. A long time supporter of the Liberal party, he was a member of the ANAVETS and Honorary Member of the Canadian Legion. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, N.B. with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 am from St. Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church. Father Bill Brennan will be officiating, with interment in the Calvary Cemetery.
