MCHATTEN, Ethel Amelia - of Woodstck passed away at Sussex Health Centre on Saturday, September 05, 2009, at the age of 83. Ethel is survived by one daughter, Joan Tapley ( the Rev. Allen) of Sussex, NB; two granddaughters Sarah Tapley of Sussex, NB and Rachel Tapley Bennett (Clarence) and great grandson Samuel Ernest of Fredericton, NB; one brother, Waldo Pike (Grace) of Temperance Vale, NB; four sisters Fern Palmer (Robert) of Millville, NB; Myrtle Sewell (Paul) of Rosedale, NB; Phyllis Jewett (Wayne) Hainesville, NB; and Julia Pike of Temperance Vale, NB; two aunts, Doris and Ruth, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest M. McHatten. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB; with visiting on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 4:00 pm from Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Andrew Hachey will be officiating, with internment in the Wakefield Community Cemetery.
