HAYWOOD, Rev. Eric Malcum - of Woodstock passed away at Carleton Manor on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at the age of 87 years. He was born in Waterville, NB, the son of the late Oscar and Lillian (Prosser) Haywood.

He is survived by one daughter, Deborah Grant (Paul) of Woodstock; a brother, Gordon Haywood (Flora) of Victoria Corner; a sister, Marjorie A. Seeley (Bill) of Bronte, ON; and grandchildren, Caitlin Grant (Billy), Toby Grant (Christy), Kelly Everett (Rodney); great grandchildren Austin, Alexis, Trew, Paxton, Emma, and Alex; several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his wife Nina Haywood and a brother, Lorne Haywood.

For the most of his life Eric served in the mission field in South Africa.

The funeral service was held on Aug. 25, 2012 from the Woodstock Wesleyan Church. Rev. Dale MacDonald officiated, with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery.
