Eileen Foster of Woodstock NB passed away peacefully at her home in Carleton Manor on February 3, 2023.

Eileen was the daughter of the late Cecil and Fern (Wright) Edwards of Hartin Settlement, Canterbury NB.

Eileen was predeceased by her husband Garnet Foster, her son-in-law William Brown, brothers Harry Edwards and Kenneth Edwards, sisters in law Wilda Edwards, Elenor Edwards, and Barbara Edwards, brothers in law Wilmont Clark, Hallie Jinson, Galen Wright, Rene Dumas, Jean St Amand, and infant siblings John and Mildred.

Eileen is survived by her children David Edwards (Lori), Nancy Costello (John), Karen Etherington (William), Donald Foster, Dalton Foster,  and Kimberley Brown; her brothers Clifford Edwards, Donald Edwards (MaryAnn), Wilfred Edwards and by her sisters

Stella St Amand, Ruby Edwards, and Shirley Edwards as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB
There will be no visitation or funeral at this time.  The family will have a small private graveside service at a later date.

Eileen's family would like to thank Carleton Manor for the wonderful care she received and for making her feel like it was her home. We especially want to thank the staff for the excellent palliative care provided. The honor guard walk truly touched our hearts.

In lieu of flowers a donation to The Marne Baptist church;1413 Hartin Settlement Road, Hartin Settlement NB, E6H 1S4, or the Marne Baptist Cemetery; 100 English Road, Marne NB E6H 1N0 would be appreciated by the family.
