RIDEOUT, Edison Samuel - of Woodstock passed away at Carleton Manor, Woodstock on Friday, February 18, 2011, at the age of 80.

Ed is survived by two daughters Melanie Rideout ( Allison Delong ) Charleston, NB; Karen Shaw-Davenport ( Mahlon ) Royalton, NB; two sons Allan Shaw (Gina) West Glassville, NB; Blake Shaw White Court Alberta; Marie Shaw-Lloyd ( Ernest ) Summerfield, NB; two brothers Malcolm Rideout ( Cathy) Hamilton,Ontario; Eldon Rideout, Lower Brighton, NB; seven sisters Shirley MacDonald, Northampton, NB; Audrey Harrington (Cyril) Woodstock, NB; Marion Trecartin, Bull Road, NB; Dorothy Canam, Jacksonville, NB; Mavis Clark ( Weldon )Woodstock, NB; Opal Boone ( Arlie ) Summerfield, NB; Angela Laskey ( Stephen) Bannon, NB; one grandson Chad Lloyd ( Jamie ) Homesville, NB.

Ed was predeceased by his parents Robert and Leah ( Sewell ) Rideout;  his wife Ethel; four brothers Donald, Dwayne, Hazen, Manson.

A Legion Tribute funeral service was held on February 21, 2011 from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Internment  will take place in the Windsor Cemetey at a later date.
