Dorothy Villa (Farrell) Schriver passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on January 25, 2025. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Byron and Frances (Grant) Farrell.

Dorothy was a dedicated homemaker who excelled at making a home for her late husband Daniel and their four children. She was dedicated to caring for and helping all her children as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She took great joy in baking treats to have and share with the grandchildren who she enjoyed having to visit as often as they could. She also loved making quilts for her children, grandchildren, and many friends, and was always willing to extend a helping hand to those in need.

She will be sadly missed by her children Ray (Lori), Mark (Mary), Darlene Vincent (Donnie), and Dale (Sylvie); grandchildren Robin, Evan, Andrew, Daniel, Matthew, Joshua, Katy, Alex, David, Justin, and Ryan; and seven great-grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters, Delores Gagliardi, and Donna Dickinson, and predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Daniel Schriver, and brothers Arnold, Allison, Robert, and Ralph.

Dorothy is resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB. Visitations will be Tuesday, January 28 from 6-8 pm, and Wednesday, January 29 from 10 am-12 pm, followed by the funeral at Scott Funeral Home Chapel on January 29 at 2 pm. Interment at the Woodstock Rural Cemetery will be in the spring at a date to be announced at a later time.

If desired, remembrances can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.

We would like to extend a special thank-you to the doctors, nurses, and care staff at 4SW of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their exceptional care and time spent to make Dorothy comfortable during her stay. Their care for Dorothy and all the family makes them a shining example of the quality and dedication of the staff working in this unit.
