It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Doris Pauline Wright born in Woodstock, NB on March 24/1939. Doris passed away at the Carleton Manor March 26/2021.
For those who knew Doris, they knew she loved her family. Doris always seemed happiest when doing things for others. In her earlier years she worked as an ambulance attendant/driver before she became a homemaker with the Red Cross. Doris would always make sure you were fed when visiting and could whip pretty much anything in no time at all.
Doris is survived by her children, Larry McHatten (Nancy) of Brockway, NB, Diane McHatten of Woodstock, NB, Faith Ingersoll (Cameron) of Woodstock, NB, Joseph McHatten of Fredericton, NB and Timothy McHatten of PEI. Her sister Edna Scribner of Ontario, and brother Lewis Wright (Yvonne) of Woodstock, NB. Nieces and nephews and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter with her namesake, Lilly Diane Doris.
Besides her parents Harold and Violet Wright, she was predeceased by her brother Marshall Wright, sister Marie Beaulieu and enfant daughter Valerie.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 main Street Woodstock, NB with visiting on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 10 am until 12 noon.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 2 pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Neil Horner Officiating
Interment will be held on Thursday April 29, 2021 at 11 am the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
If desired donations may be made to a Memorial of the donors choice.
