Doris E. Montgomery of Woodstock, Nb passed away on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Woodstock, N.B. in her 100th year.

A lifelong resident of Woodstock, Doris was the daughter of Beulah and Herbert True.
The last remaining member of her family, Doris was predeceased by her parents, her husband, James Montgomery, her sister Elizabeth Currie and brothers, Grant and Herman. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.


Until her later years, Doris was very active in her community. She was a long time member of the Woodstock Hospital Ladies Auxillary and volunteered countless hours in their gift shop. She attended St. Luke's Anglican Church and was Past Matron of the Victoria Chapter No. 1 Order of The Eastern Star.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home 815 Main Street Woodstock,NB There will be no visitation at this time.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 11, 2015 a 11 am from the St. Lukes Anglican Church Woodstock.

Rev Shirley Noseworthy will be officiating.
internment will be announced and held at a later date.
